Dr. Dennis Heimdahl was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He entered the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago after graduating from the University of Wisconsin with his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1984. Dr. Heimdahl completed his internship at Fort Sheridan, Illinois, and at the Illinois Institute of the Visually Handicapped.
Dr. Heimdahl’s wife Cheryl, also from Milwaukee, is an exceptional education teacher specializing in the area of Learning Disabilities. Dr. Heimdahl practices in the areas of general and pediatric optometry, contact lenses, and treatment of partial vision patients.
